MEET Dr. Loya, MD
Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Bradon Loya brings a rigorous analytical mind and a deeply personal, patient-centered approach to family medicine. His journey into medicine is far from typical—before earning his Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Loya worked as an Explosives Scientist and Engineer at CNS Pantex with an active Department of Energy Q-Security Clearance. His background in complex problem-solving and precision engineering shapes how he practices medicine today.
Dr. Loya earned his medical degree through the Family Medicine Accelerated Track (FMAT) at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where he also completed his Family Medicine Residency. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, trained at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, and studied at the University of Oxford within the Lady Margaret Hall in England.
Over his career, he has cared for patients across the entire spectrum of healthcare—serving as a primary care provider in outpatient clinics, nursing homes, urgent care clinics, Emergency Rooms, and serving as an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Whether he is teaching medical trainees or working directly with families in the clinic, Dr. Loya is committed to delivering unhurried, compassionate care. Having previously practiced in Brownwood, he holds a deep and personal connection to the community and is thrilled to return to care for the families of Brown County. He cares about building on trust, clear communication, and personal attention.
